Syntonic was approached by the Macquarie University Research Office as there was a need to find a more environmentally friendly way to disseminate committee documents for their research group due to the considerable amount of paper that was required.

Syntonic developed a centralized system that allows several committee managers to create batches of documents that are then distributed to the authorized committees, or to individual people.

As the documents contain sensitive information security is paramount. The distribution system requires recipients of a notification email to log into the distribution system to retrieve the documents they are authorized to view. This reduces the problems associated with the inherent insecurity of blindly emailing out the documents.
